I'm pretty sure that they meant Aftermath, not After Math. Spell check isn't always as effective as you would hope!

Are you sure it was a typo, then not a typo but thought it really was a typo? I ask because of the last sentence in that Yahoo paragraph ...

"Numbers, because how else would you gauge how fast you're falling?"

"Math" ... "Numbers" I don't know how to put it together to make total sense. It just stuck out to me.
