Bet Phoenix Freerolls - does this sound right?

When is a freeroll tournament not really a freeroll tournament? For the last few days, I haven't been able to register for the freeroll tournaments at BetPhoenix. I contacted support - apparently if you play a free chip at BP, you can't play the freeroll tournaments until you make a deposit. I have made many deposits at BP in the past, but I did use the $25 free chip that they offered for Veterans Day, so no tournaments for me.Does that sound right?

Please wait for a site operator to respond."

You are now chatting with 'Dean'"

Dean: Welcome to Bet Phoenix Casino, where the excitement never ends! How may I help you today?"
"
Josephine: Hi, I have a few questions I would like to get cleared up for the forum regarding the freerolls. When a depositing player has used a free chip, they can't play in the freerolls? "
"
Josephine: Hi Dean."
"
Dean: Correct"
"
Dean: No free chips cashbacks "
"
Dean: can be played on free chips "
"
Josephine: No I understand that part."
"
Josephine: Let's say the player used the Veterans day free chip."
"
Josephine: They no longer have it in their account, they lost."
"
Josephine: Are they able to play the tournaments still?"
"
Josephine: Even though they just had a free chip that they played?"
"
Dean: free tourneys only "
"
Josephine: Because a player is saying on the forum that since he used a free chip, he can't play in tourneys until he deposits again, and he has already deposited alot in the past"
"
Josephine: So that is confusing to some."
"
Dean: no"
"
Dean: No free chip can be played on tourneys "
"
Josephine: Right"
"
Josephine: We know that."
"
Dean: If you want to play the free rolls no problem "
"
Dean: Use your own cash to deposit no bonus "
"
Josephine: However, they are saying that they redeemed the veterans chip, lost, and have .00 balance, and aren't allowed to play the freerolls until they deposit."
"
Josephine: Is there a Terms and conditions page for the tournaments that I can just post."
"
Dean: FREE ROLL TOURNAMENT RULES"
"

If you have previously enjoyed any of our non-deposit free chip offers or Tournament Free Rolls, you will not be eligible for any successive non-deposit free offers until and unless you have made a real money deposit within 1 month."

So it sounds to me PSP that someone didn't give you the correct information. The problem with the tournaments might be that you have a .00 balance. I always keep a penny in my account, and I am able to register at all the freerolls. "
"
I would go back to live chat, and ask them to place 0.01 in your account, they should do it for you, and you should be able to register.

Thanks for asking for me MM!The problem for me is that I won one of the freerolls a couple of weeks ago and promptly lost the winnings. I was OK until the Veterans Day freebie, making it 2 in a row - it wouldn't make a difference if I had left a penny in there or not. Had I known this ahead of time, I wouldn't have accepted the $25 Veterans Day chip and continued to play the freerolls.I wish they would change their system to not show tournaments that you aren't eligible for - Rushmore does this with their bigger dollar freerolls that are for depositing players only. If you haven't deposited in the past, they don't even show up on the list.Live and learn I guess

You can play and win 100 freerolls in a row, and still get paid. You just have had to deposit in the last 30 days. You can also use a free chip, lose, and register for the freerolls. Just ask them for the .01 and I can almost guarantee you will be able to play them.
