Boiling Water Thrown In -41 Degrees

In Tucson, we have a small storm rolling in Tue night which will drop our temps from normal 60 degree high to only 48 for the high on Wed. And this will be me!

i don't know about the hot water thing, but to me it looks like something might of been put in the pot of water, because i have seen hot water thrown in cold cold temps and it didn't look like that.  as far as  how does anyone live in NEGATIVE 41 DEGREES?!?!?!? you get acclimated after awhile. when i lived in Alaska with the chill factor sometimes it got to -45 degrees. you just learn to dress real warm and go outside only when you need to lol
