Federal Wire Act: Reversal Of Opinion By The DOJ

The U.S. Department of Justice has changed their opinion on the Wire Act, thanks to millions of dollars in donations from Sheldon Adelson. Reversing a decision from 2011, the DOJ now claims that the 1961 legislation prohibits Internet casino games and poker. They plan to begin enforcing the new interpretation within 90 days. Will states have to shut down regulated online gaming?

I'm sure that it is just a coincidence that he owns/controls a large number of casinos around the world - the Las Vegas Sands group, including The Venetian, a mondo casino in Pennsylvania, and casinos in Asia...

Apparently, he's "only" worth $34 billion - give or take a few billion. No point sharing the spoils with anyone else...
