Last night the Massachusetts House approved a gambling bill, which would allow casino gambling within its state, with flying colors. In a hands down 123 to 32 vote that came in just after 9 o'clock last night, a bill was passed to allow 3 casino/hotels and a slots only establishment in the state of Massachusetts.Gov Devel Patrick is supporting the bill that the Massachusetts Senate will take a look at later on in the month of September.House Speaker Robert A. DeLeo said that the first casino could open up within a year with the others to follow within a couple of years after. The point to all of this? The state of Massachusetts is trying to create jobs to battle the blue collar depression the state has been facing for quite some time.
