Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I took my husband back to the doctor the other day, and he told him, after a new MRI, that he needs to quit work and file for disability. The dump truck is causing the bones in his spine to separate. He enrolled in Florida Tech taking online classes to get a Bachelor's in Computer Science, and being the stubborn, hard-headed man that he is, he won't quit until some other kind of money is coming in to the house. In GA you don't qualify for assisstance through the state unless you are physically able to participate in their job program, and they said we have too many physical limitations to qualify. I have put a wish on the Wish Upon A Hero site, and can use all the prayers I can get at this point. (Even for myself so I don't crack under the stress of all of this!) I have been to every food bank and church in town, and I'm running out of resources. I am trying desperately to keep my kids from knowing how bad things are, but when Daddy can't get out of bed to get to the wheelchair it is beyond why didn't Daddy go to work today? Sorry don't mean to dump my troubles on everyone, but I could use your continued thoughts and prayers. Thanks for reading such a long post!
