Need Tech help with my RTG Casino Software

Mikey7a

PHINSFAN NUMERO UNO
Hey gang, I have a problem. RTG is hands down my favorite Software, since we in the U.S. can no longer play at PlayTech. OK, now for my problem. It all began, when I decided to switch from Google Chrome browser, to Mozilla Firefox. All of my RTG casinos, when I try to open a Real Series Video Slot Game, they load, but all I see is a Black screen, with a "get Adobe Flash Player" button. Clicking the button does nothing.

I have the current Flash for Firefox. I have the newest Firefox. I use Windows 7. I've uninstalled, reinstalled Flash. I've uninstalled and removed all of the RTG Casino. Nothing works. I still get the black box, and button. HELP! Thanks for any who reply.

Firefox is my default browser. Here are my versions for both FF and FP.

Do we match?

Firefox 38.0.5
Funnelcake November 2013
mozilla26- 1.0

Flash Player
Firefox, Mozilla - NPAPI 17.0.0.188

Go here and test your flash version.

I had issues and had to set IE as the default browser and reboot. That fixed them. I rarely use IE but Chrome has issues with the casinos at times so it seems to have fixed all my variations.

I had a similar problem with firefox. I have just recently switched to it from Chrome. I did a systems restore and then re-downloaded adobe. When I finished a message popped up that read "you already have the latest adobe version!" (grrrrr) but after that it worked fine...not sure what was up with that, but at least it is working now. Hope you are able to work it out.

Thanks to all who replied. Sadly, nothing you suggested, nor anything I've tried works using Firefox. I refuse to use IE, and left Chrome, due to the fact Chrome is no longer supporting Java(how stupid is that?). I'll reinstall Chrome, download Raging Bull, then uninstall Chrome lol. Never the EZ way for me it seems. Thanks again everyone...wish I had spent the last 15 years learning how to do more to my comp, than using it for fun, and news.

OK, we have reached the moment where I want to throw the whole Comp straight out the front door...grrrrrrrrrrrrr! The same damn thing is happening, using Chrome to Download and install. WTF?????

lol. Wait, apparently I had to enable Flash in Chrome. Figured it would be enabled automatically. Going to try Raging Bull one more time, wish me luck.

I just uninstalled Raging Bull. Removed the Download File. Ran CCleaner, rebooted my Comp, reinstalled The Casino...same problem. I officially give up. We should not have to be computer Geeks to get Casino Software to run properly. Two Browsers, everything updated, everything from previous Downloads, even Registry Entries removed. Nothing works, nothing. The Casino Support suggests uninstalling/reinstalling...golly gee whiz, thank you for such detailed technical advice...NOT. Sorry if I seem irate,. I am not an idiot, I've been installing Casino Clients for over 15 years. This should NOT be so damn hard.

The last time I had a problem like that with an online casino many years ago I think i eventually did a system restore on my PC to a time when the casino worked still.

( though I think that is probably not how you are supposed to do it )

Hey @Dean FTA , I sent an email last night. Also, if you look up at the top of this thread, and click on the Image there, you will see exactly what I'm seeing when I try to play a Slot Game. Thanks so much!

Chrome has a different way of using flash and has to be set up but I still never could get it to work correctly for some sites. It's tricky when you have "internet options" you can set in so many different places - never know which one is going to override the other or when. It's not only RTG software that has issues, though. It's getting complicated. Maybe windows 10 will solve it all, right? hahah

Dean, this is when I begin to become irate. I'm not an idiot. I have repeatedly uninstalled, then reinstalled Adobe Flash. I've done this for both Firefox, and Google Chrome. Your answer is NOT correcting the issue sir. I patiently await your reply.

@Mikey7a I was not trying to insult you! Sorry if it seemed that way :(

Let me log a ticket with the software providers, hopefully they can resolve this issue!

Best regards,

Dean

P.S are you trying to play from the download version or the instant play version?

Dean, please ignore my poor behavior. I'm a grumpy old fart, and have a short fuse. I always prefer the Download. Call me crazy, but I just seem to have better luck with the Client, than the Web Version. Anyway, I'm a depositing Player, and I am loyal to any RTG site that No Deposit Forum recommends. Let's get this fixed, I have money burning a hole in my pocket! HA!

Aww that was nice of you Mikey, thanks. I hope @Dean FTA can get to the bottom of it, at the very least I know he is trying.

Hey Mikey!

OOOOHHHH since I heard the word deposit I will be on this like a mad man hahahaha.

I have logged a ticket with RTG themselves (yeah that's right I went straight to the big boys:cooldude:) haha

Just waiting for them to reply, hopefully they have an answer, i tried replicating the issue but couldn't!

Once we sort you out then I guess it is time for that :dollarsign::dollarsign::dollarsign:

I'm just asking because who knows, maybe these are other things to consider.

How's your internet service? Meaning, have you changed it to recently? What kind of connection is it?

Here's a "I can't download RTG games" issue on the old forum that I solved. You can still get there without logging in. Your issue is with Adobe I know and not the error message posted in that thread.

Also, have you tried to download a game with the anti-virus shut off?

OK...It finally works. I had to use IE. Here's why I fought so hard against that option. I went in my Control Panel, under Programs, and shut off IE, about two years ago. So, you would think all I need do, was go back and turn it back on right? Wroooooong! Too many hours, and way too much typing to explain the 4 and a half hour nightmare, but it is back. I stick to my guns though, I truly HATE IE. Chrome was the bomb, up until they decided to move away from NPAPI. So, I went to Firefox. I sure hope sites start to support Firefox Browser, it is by far the simplest, and best, in my humble opinion.

Anyway, thanks to all who offered advice, and to Dean from Raging Bull. I look forward to trying my luck at a new RTG Casino!
