Watch the second video down in that link. These are 50+ft catamarans, so when this happens, the crew is 40 ft above the water

You can just call it a "cat" instead of catamaran if you so desire

When the bows go down underwater and stop like that, making the cat flip forward, it's called a pitchpole.
