The historic Las Vegas Hilton has taken on a new name. As of today it is now the LVH-Las Vegas Hotel & Casino.Los Angeles billionaire Thomas Barrack's Colony Capital LLC owns the hotel, but lost the Hilton franchise on Saturday. The changeover started last month on the 2950 room hotel/casino and the first thing to go was the enormous Las Vegas Hilton sign that was a landmark in itself on Paradise Road. It has not been reported what happened or will happen to the sign.
