PLEASE READ! Regarding Contest and Tournament entry posts

I am going to be blunt here and if I offend anyone, I apologize.

Let me start off by saying .................. I make mistakes. I am not perfect and I understand that you will make mistakes too. And with that said, I am going to tell you all what I am NOT going to do from this point out when it comes to your contest and tournament posts.

I am not going to .................
1. PM you for account numbers.
2. PM you for usernames.
3. PM you for a number pick or multiple number picks if your deposits allow you to choose more than you posted.
4. PM you for deposit dates and amounts.
5. Accept any entry that does not have ALL information that any contest or tournament requires as a qualifying entry.

I will scour your post to try and get the info I need for your entry but if there are multiple accounts, extra number picks, etc, etc, I will grab what I think you need for your entry into whichever contest and tournament you are entering. This means if you post an account for one casino and it does not apply to that contest or tournament, I will send that one off, because in some cases, I do not know what account numbers belong to which casinos. I am learning but do not have all the prefixes memorized.

I have sent multiple PM's to members asking for info from them only to be ignored. So why PM anymore? It's a waste of my time to make sure your entries qualify. If the rules cannot be followed, then I am not going to waste anymore of my time hunting you down. There have been multiple emails back and forth between me and the casino reps that include wrong account numbers, wrong usernames etc. which cause the reps to have to do double work by trying to add participants in at the last minute. I am done with the multiple emails.

IF YOUR ENTRY DOES NOT QUALIFY BECAUSE OF LACK OF INFO, I WILL EDIT IN THE WORD VOID AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. IF YOU WONDER WHY YOU WERE NOT A PART OF ANY CONTEST OR TOURNAMENT, LOOK AT YOUR POSTS AND LOOK FOR THE WORD VOID .

I am going to end this by saying that if a mistake was made on my part, I will do everything I can to correct it. I always have. I am very sorry to sound so harsh but I had to say all of this and I hope you all understand where I am coming from. And realize, for the most part, everyone does a great job entering in.

All closed contests and tournaments can be found here for reference in case you come in after they have closed. http://nodepositforum.com/forums/closed-forum-contest.407144/

Please feel free to leave your comments about all of this.

Thank you all for your participation in our contests and tournaments. It is appreciated very much! ~ Mben

And I PMd you the minute I saw this post to see what was up and still have not heard from you.  The whole reason for my original post.

I don't know how this whole thing works. Can you please steer me in the right direction to get some kind of instruction or link as to how this whole form works? I don't even know what a PM means. Thanks,"

Hi AMS6868,

I sure will explain all this to you.
smile.gif

Basically we offer contests that require deposits into a casino that is sponsoring the contest or we have contests that do not require a deposit. Some don't even have to do with a casino at all where you could win cold hard cash from our fearless leader Belgamo. Others are tournaments that we hold within casinos.

All of the above mentioned require some kind of info from a member to make a qualifying entry such as the date of deposit, the amount of the deposit, a 4 digit lucky number or whatever else the contest requires.
I have kept track of all contests and entries for quite a long time now. And I am tired. lol Not tired of tracking the entries, tired of trying to keep track of who didn't post what, chasing around members for pertinent information that the contests clearly states it requires in the post. So when I say that I am not going to PM a member, that means that I am not going to send them a Personal Message asking for the info to make their entry qualify . I am simply going to void their entry and they can repost if they want with all their info.

Now since you posted here under this thread, I assumed that you were asking about the original post. But after re-reading your post, I think you are just asking about the forum in general?? I am still going to leave all I have written for others.

Hello friend: PM stands for Personal Message We are able to send and receive them here, and it is a nice feature of communication. Just click on your name, and on the left side of the page, you will see the personal message options.  Inbox, Outbox, and New message.  Click on new message, enter the recipients name, and type away.  Then hit send, and the member receives your message. I hope this helps.  Any more questions, dont hesitate to ask. Now I expect you to send me a PM ,, for a test message.                                                                                                            Pam

Or ................... click on the name of the member you want to personal message (PM) and you will go to their profile page where you can choose to send a PM. When you do it that way, you don't even have to enter in their name.

it is a wonderful article. Sometimes we feel depressed, at this time we need to break it out, so the forum is the best place, it can be asked and answer it.

Thank you for all you hard work, (to all of you who manage the forums) but who I see visibly on here everyday mben and Sookie and for all the extra time and hard work you put into administering the forums. It cannot be easy, and I see no doubt working with so many people at different levels of pc knowledge and varying levels of forum features, and also forgetting things about contests can be very frustrating. Thank you for this information it was very helpful. now we know and hopefully, and all hopefully have a better understanding and will be more aware in the future. :gogirl:

Thank you so much AMY! It's always nice when a member leaves a post like this, thanks for making our day. Your idea of what we do everyday is pretty insightful. Yes, we get paid to do what we do but me and Mben do appreciate the occasional shout out telling us thanks ;)
