On Monday President Obama pardoned five people who were convivted of various crimes. They ranged from from intent to distribute marijuana to running an illegal gambling business.This is Obama's third set of pardons where he pardoned 8 people at the beginning of this year and 9 others in December of 2010. None of the current pardons were associated with well known cases but one was granted to Thomas Paul Ledford of Jonesborough, Tenn.,Ledford was sentenced in 1995 to one year of probation for conducting and directing an illegal gambling business.
