Some wins at Holland Casino

Although generally the odds are better at online casinos, I had some nice wins yesterday, 1 jackpot of 1,800, one of 1,100 and one of 1,200!! Can you believe that? (of course, you don't want to know the amount that I had gambled away at Holland Casino the past years... but still!)

Awesome wins!! Congrats to you. I never walk away with anywhere near those amounts. The most I ever won was 1100....2 yrs ago. I feel if I walk out with what I came with, I am a winner LOL

Percival12, that's great! 3 huge wins in one day! Now, that's some kind of luck. The most I have ever won at a land based casino was a $1400 win. But on another day, I won $800 at one casino. Met a friend for lunch and drove the long way home afterwards and hit another casino and won $600 there. And yes, the $$ we have put in never seems to be made up by the $$ we have won!

that is great.. when my daughter was heading to check out colleges we went to vegas as a treat. she went to bed as we got there late and i went down to play. didnt think i would win anything but love to play at live casinos.so i went to a 25 sent 3 reel slot and on my third spin. only 2.25 later. i hit jackpot 3375.00..  only played for 5 minutes... it is my best win so fast ever..we had the best weekend ever. only took 300 for the whole trip. cheap trip. only took money for gas and food. so we had a blast eating and seeing shows and buying all kinds of fun stuff..so keep it up.at a casino near me  one year i was on a winning streak. i stayed up 48hrs playing could not miss. seemed ever other spin was a winning on on dollar slots. i think i won 30k that year..like a dummy i lost some tax forms and got audited by irs becasue of it. but only had to pay a little cause i had all the other forms etc to proof lose.but since i found online i hardly go to land

What state is this casino in?? I haven't ever heard of it, but then that's not suprising since I live in Spudville USA!!! I want to go to Vegas!!! I went to a few casinos in Washington State up by Seattle a couple years ago when I was visiting my daughter. I didn't win a thing up there. I have to drive 250 miles to get to the closest casinos in Nevada. Jackpot is a little hole in the wall right across the Idaho -Nevada border, and the other place I go to is in Winnemucca, which is in the other direction on the Oregon Nevada border. The most I ever won at one time, was $500 on a dollar slot machine. I was standing next to my hubby watching him play a few bucks in a machine and I reached over and grabbed a $1 coin out of the slot tray and put it in the machine next to him and won the $500 on the first pull!! It was a 3 line slot, if I had put in the 3 coins I would have won over 3 grand!! I wasn't upset though, I was happy with the $500!!!

In Holland, gambling is NOT taxed, but then again our taxes are higher than in the US. Still, this also explains why the government even allows smoking in land based casinos and it is still allowed to play there while it is (still) so difficult for Americans to gamble online (no tax income for the government)."

All in all, it sounds quite complicated with those winnings. I mean, you have lost in the past, so can you deduct those losses from your income? Don't think so, so IMO that's unfair, but I don't know that much about it. How can you prove that you have lost say 20 K in one year?
