Dear Santa,
I ask for Christmas for my family a sense a peace and joy for all the loss we have suffered especially from our dear loving stepfather Silvio, who had just past and lost his battle from Leukemia. My mom especially is sincerely lost without him and hopefully will find some joy this holiday season. we don't need objects, but we all like something to open on Christmas. Money, un fortunately is a necessity to get through life, we all have bills and necessities like food. (plus I have an obsession with this new found online gaming to relax after a stressful at work in the lab doing research at the institute) but I know objects come and go, but we all like something to open and I really am in need with my students stipend. Also we all need the love of our families we have with us and love to see them open a gift and smile. And hopefully they are happy, healthy and safe. So hopefully I can win some money, to bring each of them some joy, a little smile to their face to get them a little something to help make this year a little brighter for all. It has been a hard year.

As I look around, I really do have everything I need. I live far from the glamorous life of course, but my needs are met everyday.

I guess my wish would be for.....

The folks that work work work, and barely get by, let alone having money for gifts for their children. We both know the real meaning of Christmas, but no child should wake up on Christmas day and find nothing. Heartbreaking.

I asked for everyone who is sad this time of year, to concentrate on the blessings they have, and find the true meaning of joy right in their own life.

I asked for continued health for all the people I love, and that they might have their best year yet.

I ask that I might find a job I can do, and become more financially stable.

Ahh, I could go on all day.....

Anyways,

I hope you are resting up, in just a little while, you will have a long night ahead of you. hehe

All I want for Christmas this year, is to turn fantasy into a reality. After a brutal season, that saw almost every team scoring their season high against me (proven with most points scored against) I used smoke and mirrors to miraculously sneak into the playoffs at 6-7. Favorable scheduling and luck (and no Luck) let me slip by Belgamo. If my favorable matchups hold true and Odell plays like, well, Odell... I have a chance to outscore Ike and make the finals. Dear Santa,

It was a mixed bag of a year I suppose. I lost my brother to cancer and our dog to old age which obviously made my heart break having these things happen, but you could also say that Allen is no longer suffering, which he was, and he showed us how incredibly strong he really was inside and he hardly ever complained about how miserable he was and also, that we had 16 long, happy years with Casey and he made us laugh and smile every day of that time that we had with him (he was a knucklehead of a dog!)

With all of that said, the only thing that I want for Christmas is to continue having what I already have - my family! I do my best to appreciate every one of them every single day while I still have them around to love and be loved by them.

If everybody had the love, support, friendship, stability, wisdom and all of the other things that come from a loving, close-knit family, this world would be a much better place to live in than it is right now. It would be a lot more difficult to harbor and fester hate, war and all of the other sickening things that some people choose to do to others if they had people around them living in love and harmony instead of living in hate and evil intent toward other human beings.

That's how important family is to each and every one of us. It makes a difference in our lives and how we live.

I would like to wish everyone here at NDF and all of its members a very, merry Christmas and a joyous, happy New Year!
