trouble with silver light download

i want to try the tournys at the rtgs but when i try to download the silver light its saying not supported.i dont even know what that means or why its sending that msg. i have windows xp can some 1 please help

Try and disable your firewall and popup blockers! Don't have anything else up but the casino you want to download from....I don't know what else you can try. Maybe someone else will know more than me!!

uninstal the silverlight part of it- you dont need it - also when having trouble downloading rtg's - disable your anti virus

Microsofts recommended method to delete Silverlight is to use the standard Windows uninstaller. At the Control Panel, select Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Functions (depending on your version of Windows) to list all installed programs. Select the non-required versions of Silverlight, choose to uninstall and follow the prompts.

WEll guess what?LOL- i dont need a screen shot of the message like i had asked you for,I have not gotten around to trying to enter any of these RTG freeroll tournaments yet -until today.....and i get the same message. But that just means i was right and you do have it installed and its keeping the tournaments for working - but now that i have the problem right in front of me and can see exactly whats going on- i can fix it 

So im gonna try to get rid of it right now - as soon as i do. ill come back and tell you how

I found this on the Silverlight website regarding Code 2105:Maybe I can help. I was having the same problem and knowone seemed to be able to help but I found the fix. Here is what you do. first down the program (REVO UNINSTALLER) YOU CAN GOOGLE OR DO A SEARCH FOR Revo uninstaller to find the download. After it downloads to your system, run the program. The uninstaller will list everything in your system and ask what you want to uninstall. Search through and find the (Microsoft silverlight). The uninstaller will pull up everything containing silverlight and ask you to choose which ones to delete. Click on choose all. Delete everything that was pulled up. Then go back to netflix and try to watch an instant movie. Netflix will open up and say you must download the silverlight player. Click download. EVERYTHING WILL WORK AFTER THAT.Good luck!

thanks guys i had given up i saw in chat where spade and cat was saying that i was basically seeing things and i wasnt getting that msg because i didnt need silver light to play the tournys i was mad (jk i love u guys)anyway if it works for you cat dear please let me know

OMG!! im so sorry!I never thought you were seeing things ....i simply thought you were misunderstanding what the message you saw meant thats why i wanted the screen shot so i could read exactly what it said.Im so sorry if thats what you thought - and i know exactly what part of chat you are talking about seeing, :spade had just copied and pasted my comment in chat to his question earlier that day, when he saw us mentioning it in chat - he had asked whats silverlight ? when i was out of the roomand i had said this is silverlight with the link to silverlight , when he was out of the room.and then if im not mistaken catadams came in right then and asked about it and i said to her no you dont need it for the tournaments and to spade i dont remember exactly what the first part of what i satd to him was but it ended with ...it doesnt thats just what she thinks ie says and he said ohhhhhhh am i right thats the conversation in chat you are talking about right?(LOL i feel like an idiot having to explain this openly on the forum - but im so sorry that thats what you thought i was thinking and feel bad that you were upset by it and i can hardly just let your post above go unanswered , now can i? )wait you know what im gonna do is send you a pm right now, i think i can explain what all that was- i just didnt want it to appear that i was ingnoring what you just postedAnd again im so very sorry to have made you feel that way my feline friend -- Edited by Cat Dancer on Monday 28th of June 2010 11:25:03 PM

i didnt get offended my dear ive been on this forum long enough for you to know that i just stopped trying to figure out the problem but it wasnt because of you guys i got tired of trying to fix it im a computer idiotyour good i know you dont have a mean bone in your little cat body and spades just spade wouldnt trade him hes the comedian here and sometimes we all need a laugh please let me know if psp suggestion worked and dont give my post another thought

well i tried psp suggestion didnt work for me still saying my prossesor not supported i didnt even see silver light as ever being installed on my computer even though i know i installed it when i first tried to go into  a tourny at the rtg ,I think what happened was when i went to uninstall all files for it the first time it did something to the files.I did see something called moonlight on the silverlight website i wonder if that would work any way thatnks cat and psp for trying to help

i dont recomend disabling a firewall or turnig off antivirus......that just opens the door to  trouble  go to silverlight and ask them.....

This is what I suggest and is what vllynet suggests, contact SilverLight and have them walk you through or even possibly trying one of the RTG casinos technical support. The casinos tech support might be iffy though so I would try Silverlight first. "

i bought a new harddrive and downloaded silverlight with no problem.This 1 runs windows xp 2 like my other1 do and i still dont know what happened.Oh well i will keep the other 1 just incase something happens as a back up hard drive thanks for every1s help and i will see you at the rtg tournys
