i bought a walmart card as i saw that many people have used them at a casino. so i went and put a large some of money and i am not allowed to deposit, they keep on getting denied. on the site it says this country not allowed... it says retail not gaming. so it is not that.has anyone else have this problem. my husband is very mad and i really wasted the money. i thought i would go to quicktender and put my money on that but i already have three from some other prepaid cards that did not work either. so now i have to wait for quicktender to get back to me and take them off.anyways. if anyone have any ideas for me. we didnt have the money, but hubby was trying to really help me when i am in pain and cant do anything elsevirgie

walmart card?  As far as i know you can only use them at walmart.  Isn't it something like a gift card you'd give someone else as a gift.  If it says retail not gaming wouldn't that mean its good only for purchasing at the store or online at walmart.com??  Sorry I really have no idea i've never heard of anyone ever using a walmart card to play online casinos before.

it is a reloadable prepaid atm card . it use to be green dot prepaid atm card. but now uses the walmart name on the visa prepaid atm

yes it is a green dot card and cant use it anywhere, got rejected.. any how, i went back to walmart and bought a soda and got cash back. did not know i could do that but did and got all my money back.. i am soo happy. i will never do that again... thanks for all your help

are you in the states virgie?  I'm in canada and don't think i've ever noticed them before.  Unless they have them here too and i'm completely blind.

green dot has been a problem for depositors for a while now.  might be because their jurisdiction comes out of the states Georgia & Illinois.  glad you got your money back from that card, virgie.

I have both Walmart cards and I KNOW what you mean I do not like them they ALWAYS get denied. Use Netspend above and you get $5.00. It saves you alot of hassles. The ONLY card I use now. Good Luck

i dont like the monthly fees and i get the netspend prepaid card no monthly fee, but you cant get them at any stores anymore. there is only one cash store that sells them and at midnight i cant buy them...lol..thanks to all of you for your info..

Back to Quicktender. Email security@quicktender.com and ask them to remove the gift cards ending in ..... and ..... etc. They usually do it by the next day and then you can add that as deposit option. I've done many times. Don't forget to put your acct. info so they know whose asking.

no problems so far virgie.  Yes, I have used it to deposit at casinos, but mostly I use it to fund my quicktender.   The cards marketing targets youth /college age kids, but it's the same as netspend, in fact it's another MetaBank brand, just like netspend.let me know how it works for you ...

virgie, why is there a visa logo on the walmart cards if they are american express? did the one you bought have amex or visa on it?

no but when i opened it the info said it was american express? that is why i am confused. unless it is only funded by american express. it has a visa logo, says if problems contact a e.. etc...

I buy a card at the local Food Lion store. It's an allaccess Visa. with this one I never have any problems depositing but they are not reloadable. They sell several different cards and the only one I've found that I can use is the allaccess just thought I'd pass that along

I have used my Netspens Prepaid Visa for a couple years now without problems. I use it to deposit at casino's and have also bought plane tickets online with it without any problems.
