The Finance and Revenue committee in Washington, D.C. voted for a repeal of the iGaming bill that passed in a budget bill in December of 2010. It was a 3-2 vote in favor of the repeal bill. Not much of a player pool would have come out of D.C. but if they had gone through with it, it would have been the first jurisdiction in the US to do so.<a href="http://www.gambling911.com/poker/washington-dc-won%E2%80%99t-allow-internet-poker-after-all-020112.html" >source</a>
