We are here to help, but ...........

Hi everyone! I wanted to talk to you all about the "Let Us Try To Help" thread without sounding like I am discouraging you from requesting help. A forum is a gathering of members that share info, good times, bad times and what not. Members start becoming acquainted with each other through discussions or conversations through out the forum. That is what keeps a forum moving, fresh and up to date. Now, when a member comes in and asks for help with a certain casino, in most cases Belgamo and I have stepped right in to offer a hand. But in some cases we have not for this one main reason ........ Is the member a first time poster who came in and posted their complaint and has not contributed to the forum in any other way? Also, another thing we notice most of the time if the member is new, is that the member just signed up so they could post their complaint. All of that is so NOT cool. Running a forum takes time and dedication to members. Fighting a fight against a casino takes time and energy. Energy we would like to use for contributing members of the forum. I know I sound like I am not grateful for even that little bit of contibution to the forum (posting complaints) and may even scare off some potentially awesome posters but I am tired of working my butt off for those who won't give back to the forum in any other way but to complain. And as a last note, we see all (most all). Members with duplicate account, different IP's, things like that. Things like that flow up a red flag quick and tells us something's up and pursuing the matter is not worth our time and energy. And and .... giving false info or not all correct info is not cool either. Give us the facts straight so we don't look like a$$es when we take your complaints to the casinos. So by all means, post away but if you don't get any help, all this would be the reason why. Thanks everyone.     When posting in the "Let Us Try To Help" forum, it would be helpful to speed up the process if you would include your username and/or account number in your posts. Unless you are just wanting to let off some steam and know nothing can be done.

Well put Michele, and I for one support you on this subject. A forum is a place of discussion, to learn, and contribute when possible.  I know first hand how hard Belgamo and yourself work to try to help members who are having issues with casinos.  To be told half truths, or denied all the details only makes you have to work harder in the fight, and I know you take your reputations to the casinos when you go there on members behalf.  To go there with limited facts, you are putting your own reputations at risk.  All for trying to help someone out. There for sure must be a limit to how far any administrator, moderator, should have to go to help out a member.   It is only reasonable for us to want to help our current contributing members first, vs a first time poster who has come here and posted a complaint then vanishes soon after that if they do not receive the answers they are looking for from us. It is a tuff judgement call for us to have to make, each time we see a new complaint posted. I know in our hearts, here at NDF we want to help everyone, and beleive that everything is on the up and up as far as facts given.  In reality, it sometimes doesnt work out like that. It is a tuff decision to make each time, but you do it day after day, and I for one just want to thank you for the job you do.  HIGH FIVE.                                                                                                   Pam

I would just like to say that Belgamo , Mben and toots(PMM2000 ) went to bats for me a couple of times now and handled the issues I had with the casino's and got done something that was only making my blood boil trying to get the casino's to listen. So with that said I applaud this forum and there hard work that they do!

Hi,Yes, I am new .  I read what you wrote:  Is the member a first time poster who came in and posted their complaint and has not contributed to the forum in any other way.   I am not looking to make a complaint BUT wanted to see if anyone else might be experiencing a problem I am having.  Mostly just wanted information I thought other posters might already be talking about.  If your brand new here like I am how are we suppossed to contribute to the forum, not sure what your meaning by saying this, but would like to fiind out how I CAN contribute so I can post.  I was just very happy to find a forum like this, since I do gamble on line.  Is it wrong to come on here to see if others might be experienciing the same problem, like mine.  Wont bother you with that right now.   Can you please tell me how I can contribute?    Thank you

Hello Victoria:Our intent is to not scare away new members by this post.  It is simply stating that we have had a problem in the past with new members coming in, asking for alot of help, and then after we do our best to help them, POOF, they are gone. They dont contribute in any other way to our forum.  This is frowned upon.  Their only intent was to come here to get help, and not contribute in any other way.  Not cool.We are hoping that each new member become active in the forum,  we know this isnt always the case, but it is our hope. Belgamo, Mben and myself are here to help all members of NDF, but we do have to limit the amount of help offered to new members as it is time consuming and alot of work to help those that have no intentions of staying here with us.I have seen your question you posted in the forum, and I have replied to both threads. As far as quick tender, there is nothing that can be done , by anyone.I want to welcome you to the No Deposit Forum, and it is my hope you stay here with us to contribute, learn, and share.                                                                                   Pam

Hi Victoria, First of all welcome to the forum.  Here are some answers for you.

1. You can post whatever you want, whenever you want amd however you want. (spam links not included you bad, bad spammers lol) 2. Not at all. That is a big reason why this forum exists. So we can all help each other.  3. By you posting your concerns like you did over this topic, it is contributing to the forum. Others may have had the same questions as you but for whatever reason, never posted to ask. When I posted my feelings and concerns about the complainers , it was right after we had a couple of brand new members who had posted they needed help regarding a cashout at a casino. They came in, bad mouthed the casino ( * that we endorse and have strong ties with) and wanted help getting some money from them. It turns out the info they gave us was not correct or truthful and a lot of my time was wasted, I feel. Have they been on the forum since, posting freebie finds, interacting with members? No and I knew that would happen.  Thank you for your post. I appreciate the chance to clerify a little bit for you and for others who had or have the same questions.  * Will we help those that have issues at casinos that we don't endorse? Probably not because we don't have contacts there. Will we try to help those who need it at casinos we don't have strong ties with but endorse? Of course we will.

Like Victoria, I am brand new to this forum.  And I too, will keep my complaint silent till I have built up a rapport with the knowledgeable folks here.....But I do have a few questions about online gambling......Are most of the folks on here from the U.S.?..............I am an ardent casino gambler when I can go and I have significant expereince with online gambling when I cant go to the casinos........I also realize I walk a fine line with this, but really how much risk do we take in online gambling? My worry and a problem that is currently manifesting itself for me is that these Euro casinos know they got you over a barrel so their response in payouts and their cryptic policies are never challenged......I would love to find some cool, reasonably safe and fun sites to play while I'm in between my casino trips......Thanks for letting me be a part of this....... Dan

Bad meaning they bounced or is the bank just holding them until they clear?

The check had a routing number to no where, no such place it had to be paid by Bank of America my bank called they never heard of the place the check was sent from somewhere in Singapore. The bank is holding the check to make sure they don't clean out my account, since they now have my account number.

The check was drawn off of a bank in Singapore?  Never heard of that one before.

So I guess they know there is a problem with their checks? If that is the case and they send you another check, you'd hope there would be no issues then. Hopefully written off of a different bank. I've had money put onto my reloadable card by a casino but not such a large amount as yours. I wonder if that would be the issue if you choose that option?Tough call. What does everyone else think? susieq needs a hand here.

I talked to live chat the check by courier will be drawn on the same bank that the other 2 were my bank said they would let me deposit it but would put a hold on the check the casino will not charge for courier fee, so I have no other way to get the check, it said on the main web page US players could get wire transfer but they said no so they should take that off the site. I wish I new if any one else has had a problem with the casino, and do they really pay off?? The biggest hit ever $5,000.00 and not worth the paper its written on, but the bank charged me $12.00 so I guess $12.00 more just in case it is for real, Thank you for helping, Please let me no if anyone has had the same problem

You might have gotten more input if your issue was it's own thread, susieq. "
I'm still waiting to hear from the rep as to what is going on with their checks."
So the put the money on my card is not a good one for either?

No I don't have a credit card, in the United States you are not allowed to use them for gambling, and my prepaid card can only be loaded by me, I received another email from the casino, they will send by courier, surely they won't go to all that trouble just to send another bad check!! Time will tell, I don't think it will be back in my account for 24 hours, you mention a thread I don't understand that, not to computer smart, and Thank you for your time and help

what Mben means by new thread, is this topic with its own heading that is about your issue only.  If you clicked on the section of the forum casino problems then after that look at the top of the page it has a button marked start new topic   you would click on that and then title it something like problem with lucky creek check. Also I am still not understanding this Singapore check.  If you could describe some more info some people may be able to help.  I have heard of US checks and Canadian checks for US players.  Are you sure its not a Canadian check?  How many digits in the routing # at the bottom of the check?  If it is 8 digits its most likely Canadian.  I really wouldn't think they would be sending checks that banks don't except.  I have heard of banks doing stupid things with Canadian checks (not taking them, telling customers they are bad ect.)

A couple of years ago, I received a check from the group written off of a Singapore bank. Other than that, that's all I know about the check because I sent it back to finance. It was a deposit only check and I never got as far as trying to cash it because, well i couldn't. I had no bank account to deposit it into. I received a wire transfer instead. This was a couple of years ago though. I wish I would have made a copy of the check, made note of the routing number, etc but back then, there was no need ... until now. lol So when I read Singapore in susieq's  post, it did not throw me. What threw me was the routing number was to no where. If we had the routing number off her check, it would help. I'm just hoping to hear from the rep soon so she can help clear this up. -- Edited by Mben on Monday 16th of September 2013 10:56:54 PM

Hi susieq:Wanted you to know I have followed your plight every step of the way in this thread, and have not commented until now, as I am like many others who have read the thread I assume, and we just dont know yet what is the best way to go.I will say I agree with you that for it is unlikely to go thru all the trouble to send another bad check. My fingers are crossed that it is a legit check, and the bank simply holds it until it clears.  By the way....Is the bank giving you any trouble about the check as far as where it is from etc?  Are they asking very many questions?I also understand about your prepaid card being only loadable by you.  Thats the understanding I have always had with them too. However, for example, one of my prepaid cards has a routing and account number for use to use as a bank account, but is only good if the wire is sent from th US.Some of the things that are happening with this check thing is troubling for so many of us, as so many of us play at Lucky Creek here in the USA.I know Mben is waiting for a reply from the rep...lets hope that brings so good news and understanding to this situation.Hang in there, Like I siad, many of us are watching this thread closely, but sometimes members just dont know how to answer when it comes down to this stuff.                                                                                                                                                                                         Pam-- Edited by PMM2008 on Monday 16th of September 2013 10:45:34 PM

The casinos now have the ability to refund player's cashouts to their cards. Not all casinos but some. There is even an option some casinos have called Pay My Card. This has worked beautifully for some members here on the forum. I am not sure what the Lucky Creek group calls it or if there is even that option except for only through their finance dept under circumstances like yours. "
If you are hesitant about receiving another Singapore check (which why would they send another bad check like you say in your last post), then the refunding to your card may be a good option.

The check has UOB UNITED Overseas Bank Limited, Singapore 10 numbers for routing. Pay to me and to Bank of America N. A. New York Branch. (incorp orated in U S A with limited liability) that's what is on it, does it make sense? Casino Lucky Creek , so if any one has had a problem with this group of casinos please post thank you
