What annoys you when playing at land based casinos?

Hi Belgamo:I guess the worst thing at a land casino that bothers me is when non smokers sit in smoking yet complain highly that you are smoking. 
Another one is watching men/women (women are worse) tap and hit the machine and buttons before every single spin, talking to it, caressing it, etc.How about when someone is losing and they are slapping the buttons instead of pushing them. I guess the last thing I will post is when you find your favorite machine, there is no one else around anywhere. Seats are empty. Yet as you begin to play, someone comes and sits right next to you. As if there werent any other machines in the whole place. I love posts like this. makes me laugh. Pam

Thats halarious daniela6968. For sure for sure.Oh Oh , I have another one:When people cash out and reinsert their players card over and over again as if the machine will think they are someone new and suddenly begin to pay them. Over and over again like after ever third spin. It drives me crazy.

What annoys me when I play at a land based casino is my own fault.I hate when I get up off a machine and don't move far enough away from it to NOT see it anymore and someone else sits down at it and wins big!I use to think That should have been mine! Wahhhh!! but now I know better. It's just the luck of the draw as to what random set of numbers the computer chip in the machine will spit out to determine what the reels will land on. But it still chaps my a$$! -- Edited by Mben on Monday 21st of May 2012 12:37:14 PMlol what bothers me is, i don't drink and the coctail waitresses come up to you seems like every 5 minutes asking if i would like a drink. that really annoys me lolthis one really ticked me off, i was in vegas and i was on a roll won over 22k. i was at this one casino and i hit a royal it was in diamonds, the attendant came over took the info and said they would be back soon. i sat down at the machine that was next to my royal on the right and on my second hand i hit a royal in clubs, could not believe it i had 2 royals side by side. so i got up and sat at the machine on the left side of my first royal, on my first hand it dealt me a royal in hearts, i almost fell off my chair. when the attendant came to pay me for my first royal saw the lights flashing and said what have you done? i told her how i hit the royals, next thing i know security shows up and asks me to come with them, they took me to their office, detained and questioned mr for almost 2 hours, they reviewed and re-reviewed the tapes. turns out they thought i cheated and was trying to figure out how i cheated. i was pissed when i realized what was up. in the end they paid me for all three royals, apologized for any inconvenience they caused and told me that i had to leave and was permantly banned from the casino. that really upset me, i left went home and have not been to a land based casino since. one of my favorite things to say is, i have no room in my life for liars, cheaters and thieves. and for them to accuse me of cheating, well it was just more than i could handle, it really hurt and so i have not gone back to any land based casino
Gosh, you're lucky! lol It seems it takes forever for the waitress to come around for me.

Mben? I was thinking the same thing about the waitresses. I NEVEr get a waitress to come up to me and ask me for a drink order. Anywayssssssss..daremeto...that is some story about hitting those jackpots in a row like that. Doesnt surprise me in the least they would question it. Not because you did anything wrong at all, just the fact that they KNOW it is almost impossible as they have the machines set so tight , it would likely never happen in a million years. Yet it did for you. So tuff **** for them. I too had a situation at the land casino. Won $900 and some change. Hit the cashout button and the machine said call attendant, printer error. Okay, no problem.I dont know what they hell they were thinking I did, but before they would give me my $900 they went in the back and watch tapes to make sure I never actually received a ticket and grabbed it out of the machine. I mean the machine said right on it , that it was a printer malfunction you know?Anyways, yes, these and other situations like this are I suppose the most annoying of all. Sad too. Can't even win once in a while without them questioning it. Sigh. Pam

I don't think they realize the impact it has on a person in a situation like that. I am sure they deal with people all the time who are trying to beat the system I for one don't have that kind of intelligence to do something like that, and I have no desire to do something like that, but they don't know that. what i miss the most is playing bingo. i love bingo! lol and we recently moved to Oregon for job relocation and there is no bingo here. i was told that i would have to go to the casino to play bingo and the closest one is several hours away. i have tried playing bingo online but it just is not the same lol. i told steve that if i win alot of money that i am going to open a bingo parlor! lol you guys are just to funny about the coctail waitress, funny how i don't drink and they almost harrass me about a drink and you two do drink and they don't come around lol
I'm a smoker, so of course the smoke never bothers me like it would a non smoker but I always try to be polite when smoking and asking the folks next to me if it is alright I smoke.If I am the one who was there first, and I am smoking, I can some folks shy away from the game next to me cause I am smoking.
Our local Indian Casino just extended the non-smoking section to the entire back of the casino to accomadate more non smokers which I thought was a nice gesture.The casino is one of the few places smokers are still welcome to smoke while being there. All bars, restaurants, etc have banned smoking all together in their places for awhile now. PamSimilar threads
