Why most players are addicted to gambling?

I would like to discuss with you all about - Why are most players are addicted to gambling? Is it because to earn huge money or just to have fun?

IMO, it's all about the adrenaline rush that is hard to achieve in most other endeavors

i guess the money the rush, the chance alone to win thousands off a couple of dollars. Personally im chasing over 4 grand in losses, wish i was as knowledgeable about online gambling as i am now back when i had lost a good amount of money and started the chase. Now i gamble leisurely hardly deposit and get money here and there. so in the end its all about the money
