How fitting that the popular singer Jimmy Buffet, who is famous for his song Margaritaville , has a restaurant at The Flamingo in Las Vegas called Margaritaville . Now The Flamingo casino/resort is getting ready to open a newly renovated 15,000 sq ft casino called The Margaritaville Casino . The renovation called for palm trees and tropical colors, enough to make Jimmy Buffet feel right at home. The Flamingo plans on opening the new casino on October 1, 2011 and to kick off the festivities, promotional coordinators have decided on mixing the world's largest Margarita!Officials from the Guinness World Records will be on hand starting October 11, 2011 to watch the historic event. They better be careful not to get a hangover though, because this Margarita is going to hold more than .... ready for this? Two Thousand (2000) gallons of Tequila!
