Thanks guys!  There is a trick that I've learned that might help someone else... you need to play Jackpot Pinatas first.  This does 2 things for you.  First, it helps you build up your chippies.  Second, if you aren't hitting anything playing JP (play at least $50), then you aren't gonna hit anything good while playing Crazy Vegas.  That's just my experience.  Everytime I've hit 1k+ on Crazy Vegas bonus, I've already done well ($400+ in winnings) on JP.  And CV bonus only hits nicely playing $10 or $20 spins.  It will eat your money playing $5.  Once again, just my personal experience.  My ultimate win on CV was $4800 after hitting the bonus, I was playing $20.  Anyways, hope this helps.  Good Luck!
