Not exactly a blizzard, but more than we get here...
The first year I was here, we were on the freeway in Dallas at like 4 or 5 am, coming home from a night at the casino in Oklahoma and it began to snow. I mean REALLY snow. It came out of no where, you could barely see the car in front of you and the road disappeared in front of our eyes. I'm pretty sure that was a blizzard.
You should have seen the way all the other cars behaved it was so weird. Immediately every car and semi truck around us moved to the middle of the 5 lane freeway we were on and formed two "made up lanes". The weird part is everyone did it with no communication, like they were all part of a hive mind.
Everyone except us that is, we stayed where we were and continued forward at a safe speed, but all the other cars and one big truck started blasting their horns at us like we were maniacs or something. This of course made us even more determined not to join their bizarre impromptu conga line.
