Thanks for the well wishes about my Nephews. Poor little things. I'm sure they will be feeling better in no time. Isn't it terrible though? All that is going around? Seems every one you come across has some sort of cold or flu.

Sookie....As far as sitting in front of the computer all day? I used to %^$# hate that people think you are not doing anything. Sitting in front of a computer is work. I remember well, and seriously unless you do it? No one knows how hard it is, and how much energy it takes. Mental energy, and when you run out of that for the day, nothing else gets done. lol

Finally home from my 2 week stay at my Brothers. The kids are all well again, but my cold and cough remain. lol

It was crazy....2 sick kids, and three adults, all with different degrees of illness due to the flu. Kleenex and flu medicine were in high demand. If you used the last of the Ny-quil, you better replace it. haha

So glad to be home.

Oh yes, exhausted is a perfect word for how I feel. Still fighting this cold and cough makes it worse.
The kids are my little angels, for being sick, they were so sweet. Even some adults are big babies when we are sick, but the kids really were not to bad for as sick as they were. Fever, cough, ear infections, runny nose, etc. My little Nephew Drake missed 4 days of kindergarten.

Anyways, Again, so glad to be home. So glad my Nephews are better.

I babysat a couple of weekends ago when I had the flu. They had to come pick me up because I couldn't drive. How's that for being desperate for a sitter? lol (my daughter was going out of town for her birthday and I couldn't back out.)

Made some decisions in my life as of late.
I do not work, and have a lot of time on my hands and sometimes the hours are hard to fill.

Well, I decided I have sat on my butt long enough. I am heading back to college.
Now I am not moving anywhere, I am going to take online courses, and a class at the local college here.

Going to be studying criminal justice. (I know...Don't laugh)

I said what the hell. I am considered low enough income that I receive financial aid (Grants for school that do not have to be paid back) So it will literally be at no cost to me.
I know, I am 46. Who starts a career at 46? It is more about moving forward in life instead of sitting still.

I am excited. It is never to late to learn new things.

Well, I am sorry to say the college thing was looking promising and I was excited as could be. Then....when it came time to pay for it, I was denied financial aid due to a certain criteria you must meet.
I am seriously bummed.

Today will be extra fun for me. My sister is coming up and I am taking her to the casino. This poor girl doesn't know the slightest thing about gambling. Never been to a single casino. Can you imagine? lol This land casino player will do her best to teach her, and hopefully have a good time. Doing lunch there too.
It would be awesome if she had beginners luck and won some to enjoy and remember her first time at the casino.

Nice to be back here with all of you. My Spring has been a busy time and I haven't been around as much.

I have had everything from my car break down for good, to looking for a job.

Car transmission went out, cost more to fix than the damn car was worth, so I traded it in and have a newer car, which I am totally in love with. lol

My sister works for Schwans food's. She has been after me for a while now to see if I could get in. I have my eye on a merchandiser job. I have applied, and am waiting for a call. Wish me luck on that.

By the way.... seriously, Schwans foods is hiring all over the US, and they have so many different positions. If anyone is interested in looking for a job with a good company, go to Schwansjobs.com.

Anyways, hope to be able to stay in better contact with NDF from here on out.
